Impossible to transport around people. It needs designated infrastructure. To drive it, to store it. It eventually bulldozers and takes over the city, becomes the default, and everything else is then a special infrastructure - “walking infrastructure”, “cycling infrastructure” becomes a thing.

We'd wished to break car-dependency; slow down Holocene extinction; give freedom of movement back to children; make transportation just, inclusive, and affordable to all - seen as a pillar necessary for a healthy society, not as a number in a stupid spreadsheet. Unfortunately, we didn't do that.

We cycle last Friday of every month! Critical Mass is a global social movement that was started in 1992 in San Francisco Now it happens in over 300 cities around the world, every month! In Stockholm, we meet 17:45, at Medborgarplatsen. If you're new, you're welcome to come earlier and talk to us 😊 We have a lot of flags and sign that you can choose from!

Dear Stockholmare 🚂 On Friday 12th of December at 16:45, we will have an INTERNATIONAL PYJAMA PARTY for night trains at Stockholm Central! 🎊 As the date suggests, we will also have some Lucia elements to it ✨, together with a silent disco 🪩! 📣 We call for more, better and affordable night trains – the most environmentally and socially just way to travel long distances, connecting people and places through slower, more intentional mobility.

2025-11-28 🚲 It's like a demonstration. For bikes. But also a party. A community. Some anarchy, maybe? Some of it is painting a picture - even if just for a day... Some of it is a sense of freedom, which no one else will ever give you - you can only take it yourself. Some if it is a fight for a moment of symbolic justice. Some if it is a joy of the moment.

Sunday, November 16 11:00 @ Kungsträdgården Everyone's welcome and it's open to everyone! Whether you've been to any of our activities before or not. Invite your friends too! We'll find a route that is flexible and can be cut short so we can adjust the approximate distance before we start based on what everyone's comfortable with.
