The last ride of summer is here, and tomorrow night the city becomes ours. As the sun drops behind the skyline, thousands of cyclists will gather at Wilshire and Western — lights glowing, wheels spinning, music echoing through Koreatown Los Angeles. It’s the final chapter of our Summer Ride Series 2026, and we’re ending it with a full‑scale celebration.

No better way to spend a summer night than riding in community and grubbing on bomb food at @elmercaditonightmarketla. Join us this Friday and ride in community as we head to the @elmercaditonightmarketla. El Mercadito is a #BoyleHeights cultural hub that many of us grew up going to. They host the only night market in the community with a variety of vendors on top of all the businesses they host inside their building. Their joy and excitement set the tone for the evening as families, crews, and cyclists of all ages came together for the largest community bicycle ride in the USA. The future of cycling was right there in those smiles.

Tonight we honor the heart of LA Critical Mass — our incredible volunteers, dedicated staff, and visiting cyclists from Las Vegas who joined the largest community bicycle ride in the USA. From organizing, guiding, and keeping the ride safe, to showing up with energy and unity, this collective effort is what makes every Critical Mass unforgettable. Thousands rolled together, but it’s the people behind the scenes and the bike families who travel to ride with us that truly keep the movement alive.

Tonight’s LA Critical Mass was a sight to behold. The back of the ride was still holding down Western and Wilshire while the front had already engulfed Washington Boulevard heading toward Crenshaw. Thousands of cyclists stretched across long city blocks, locking down the streets in tight formation and filling Los Angeles with unstoppable energy and unity.

Tonight’s LA Critical Mass brought a standout moment as Liam Garner @liamtheimpaler — the Long Beach cyclist who famously rode from Alaska to Argentina — joined tonight’s ride on a KHS Winslow. While the KHS Zaca remains the bike that launched his legendary journey, tonight he rolled with us through Los Angeles. Lisa and Napo caught a photo with him as thousands filled the streets, celebrating adventure, community, and the cyclists who continue to inspire.

The Summer Ride Series continues as thousands roll through Los Angeles. This month, Los Angeles Critical Mass transforms the city into a moving celebration of rhythm and light. Drum Healers will be performing live at our main break — turning the pause into a pulse that echoes through the streets of L.A. It was our first break of the night, a moment to reset before the ride continued west again. The Summer Ride Series energy was already in full swing as we prepared to roll toward Dock 52 in Marina del Rey for the main break, where the music, the movement, and the communities all came together.

Early arrivals already stacking up at the start line, bringing that first‑hour energy that sets the tone for the whole night. This month’s LA Critical Mass Summer Ride Series made it clear—Los Angeles was ready to move. People showed up early, ready for a full party on wheels while putting in those miles. Shoutout to all our first timers because we had a lot!

This month, LA Critical Mass collabs with the Remix Mobile Stage, complete with three live DJs, a massive synchronized light show, and towering spotlights shooting into the sky as we roll through Metro Los Angeles. The music hits hard, the lights paint the streets, and the stage becomes a moving beacon you can see and hear from blocks away — the perfect way to open the summer.

LA Critical Mass Century Ride🚴🏽‍♂️ June 6 2026 Commute to Long Beach was a good 30 mins. I was able to arrive 5:20 with only 40 minutes remaining, I had no idea what I would be getting myself into. In terms of how my body would feel during and after this ride. Everyone was in good spirits in the morning and eager to get going. This 100 Mile bike ride was held in celebration of Napoleon (Napo) @cyclelifela Not only does he help create the routes for LA Critical Mass (held every last Friday of the month) he also volunteers in making sure the group stays together and that everyone is safe.

At 6:00 AM, the first cyclists rolled in through the cool morning haze. No fanfare—just quiet focus as they clipped in, stretched, and prepped their gear. One by one, more arrived, each ready to put in the work. June 6th, 2026 — Saturday’s Endurance Century Ride — wasn’t a casual ride. It takes a special kind of cyclist to show up for something like this, especially while climbing crazy coastal hills and grinding through long miles.

It was an honor spending Saturday afternoon and evening with KHS Bicycles. We started the day early in Long Beach for the 6:30 AM endurance Century ride to Dana Point, but by the time we reached Laguna Beach we realized we wouldn’t make it back in time for the KHS gathering. A few of us made the call to turn around and ride to Compton so we could be there, then—if time allowed—race back out to continue with the century ride, which we did.

118 miles. Our first‑ever Endurance Century Ride. Cool air, gloomy skies, and that perfect refreshing chill carried us through every climb. These photos were taken at the very end — just cyclists randomly asked who felt like capturing the moment. Not everyone who rode is pictured. Everyone completed a historic 118‑mile day. A strong finish for a strong community.

Earlier riding to #DanaPoint passing through #LagunaBeach from #LongBeach. Some split off to ride back to #Compton to attend the #KHSBicycles farewell party. LA Critical Mass May 2026🚴🏽‍♂️ LACM May’s ride was phenomenal, an absolute classic of a ride. Thank you to Simplecrazyjo & @carolllinnnaa from @official_bmx_baddies & @theamigolawyer for looking out for the cycling community. It was a big help to everyone involved. Starting strong we took the street on Western and made our way to a new route.

They met at #LACriticalMass, started riding together, fell in love, and never stopped. From strangers on bikes to dating, to saying “I do,” their whole journey began on these streets — and they still show up every month, side‑by‑side, choosing each other and the ride that brought them together. Much love to every couple, every friendship, every connection born in this community.

This month’s ride route engulfed Western with our swarms of mass participants. We were headed to the city of #Glendale @myglendale. It was our first time to visit and ride through and it was a workout to get there! The weather was perfect, the vibes were good and though it was a party on wheels we had some #cardio taking place.
