Earlier this year we had an exhibit in Edinburgh about protests. Mainly about how the advent of photography affected them. One of the stories was the Suffragettes using bikes as a force multiplier. Accessible and agile, they could secure the next reception in a time before mobile phones.

It is perhaps not totally surprising that avoiding filling the lungs of children with pollutants and particulates makes their lungs work better, but it's important to do the science and get the numbers: www.theguardian.com/environment/...

Cycling is beneficial to both the cyclists and the people around them, but you don't get all the available benefits if half of people are afraid to ride. The obvious way to improve safety is to build cycling infrastructure. #cycling
