Critical Mass is not an exercise to annoy motorists.
The point is to show everyone (commuters, pedestrians, and residents) that there is a better way to get around.
Once people see how much fun cycling can be, and how much safer and more pleasant it makes their streets,
the thinking behind our car-oriented transport policies will be challenged.
Critical Mass is created when the group of riders comes together for a few hours to take back the streets of our city.
The right of the people to assemble is guaranteed in the Constitution and Critical Mass helps people remember that right.
